Noel was born and raised in Wamba, Samburu County in Northern Kenya. He has broad experience working in conservation and community development, first at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia, supporting community development programs, then at Trans Nation Sacco championing the diversification of financial services for remote communities. Noel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. As he starts on his role as Thriving Futures Ambassador, Noel is most excited about an opportunity to work with communities and nature conservation, and findings way to support communities lead in defining solutions to the problems they face, as well as strengthening community land rights.
