There are so many projects worldwide to participate in and I’m grateful Positive Tracks helped make this happen for me. I would encourage anyone interested in making a difference to follow their dreams. For us, Legado dream isn’t over, it’s actually just beginning.Grant Bemis, Positive Tracks Ambassador
Since the beginning, our partners at Positive Tracks have been a vital part of our next steps by engaging young people and partnering with us on our initiatives.
Positive Tracks is a national, youth-centric nonprofit that helps young people get active and give back using the power of sport and adventure. In 2015, Positive Tracks, together with our outdoor industry partners, doubled every dollar Next Gen Symposium participants fundraised for a total contribution of $90,000 for innovative integrated conservation. How’s that for helping Next Gen’s experience the power of hands-on philanthropy?!
Positive Tracks originally partnered with Legado in 2014 via a $20,000 matching challenge grant issued to our Namuli Expedition Positive Track’s Ambassadors Charlie Harrison and Grant Bemis. Check out our Positive Tracks Namuli Short below— a video produced in conjunction with Positive Tracks which carries a targeted message for young people about the power of collaboration, following one’s passion, and having an impact through physical activity.
